I’m running an exhibition!
You need to identify attendees, exhibitors, speakers, staff and possibly performers. Consider what types of guest and attendee you will be welcoming and what areas of the exhibition they are allowed access to. Here are some of the products you need to consider for your exhibition.
Wristbands to identify guests
Our wristbands can be customised to meet your specific needs in terms of durability, material and colour and we also allow you the opportunity to add your own text and imagery to the wristband. Ask yourself:
> Are there different areas for guests?
> Are guests entitled to different services?
> Are there multiple types of entry to your event (single day, multiday etc)?
REMEMBER! All our wristbands are non transferrable – once applied to the guest, they cannot be transferred to other guests without ruining the wristband.
Recommendation
You need to differentiate guests, and probably in a multitude of ways. This can be done by issuing different types of wristband (colour, content, design).
For single day use, we highly recommend our tyvek wristbands. These are very economical and NZ-ID Solutions are the only company in New Zealand or Australia who actually manufacture these wristbands. Commonly thought of as ‘paper’ wristbands, they are actually a synthetic polyethylene material.
For multiday use, we highly recommend our straight-wave plastic wristbands, wide-faced vinyl wristbands or high security woven wristbands. All these wristbands are suitable for day or night events, comfortable and can be sequentially numbered and customised.

A lanyard is identification that you wear around your neck, most often with a clear ID wallet containing relevant information (see photo). They are most commonly used for staff and performers at exhibition, and for VIP’s.
As with guests, you need to ask yourself whether each staff member or performer is permitted to enter all areas on all days, or whether specific lanyards are required.
